Is there a reason why the DCs and Spell attacks for the NPCs are much higher than the actual High DCs for a creature of their level. For example, a Level 10 creature has a High Spellcasting DC of 29 and a bonus of +21. Most of the spellcasters at Level 10 in the Index are DC 31 and +24. It seems to be a significant increase since the High DCs for a Level 11 creature is only DC 30 and +22.

Is there an easy method to take the spell list template and import them to any of the npcs without manually replacing every single spell?
I am looking at the instructions and trying out stuff but I cannot find any and that rather reduces the usefulness of this...

Hi Felix, thanks for reaching out. I don't believe it can be fine in the way you describe, but that is a Foundry thing and nothing that we control. However, what the Spell List Template NPC is for is for you to copy it and rename it, and then adjust the create the NPC you wish by adjusting saves and HP and AC and everything else. Rather than first creating the NPC and trying to put the spells onto it

When using the Bestiary Browser in Foundry VTT hosted on The Forge, I am getting the following error:

Compendium "jam-and-jax-npc-index-spellcasters.sorc" could not be loaded. foundry.js:59187:78

The other spellcaster types (and all the warrior and specialist types) load in correctly, and the entries for sorcerer can be dragged in from the compendium without error. That said this is an excellent resource.

There is difficulty keeping the Compendium Browser in working order for these modules, as every update the Foundry PF2e people push out (and there are a lot of them), can potentially break the search function. You should always be able to find the assets in the Compendium folders. It is just the search that can get borked up without notice.

Can you use the Foundry module without the PDF? I would think yes, but want to confirm.

Hi Chris, yes you can. It contains all the statblocks as creatures and all the abilities are modular so you can swap them in and out

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
