Wrecked Upon The Shore

ADD TO WISHLIST >

The bustling seaside town of Otari is about to experience some violent storms...

This Pathfinder Second Edition adventure takes place in and around Otari and its coastline. The party may already be in the town, having successfully helped Tamily and the other townsfolk. Or they may simply be passing through. Either way, foul weather forces the party to be housebound for a few days. After the storm, a wrecked vessel is discovered along the coast and the party are tasked with investigating.

Wrecked Upon The Shore is a Pathfinder Second Edition adventure arc optimised for 4 adventurers at level 4. They will advanced to Level 5 by the end of this adventure.

Wrecked Upon The Shore includes the following:

  • 3 location specific maps, 2 town maps, all with various versions. 13 maps in total!
  • Various named NPCs and enemies.
  • Stat blocks of the main creatures encountered.
  • Custom Hazards.
  • Set within the area of Otari, the adventure can easily follow on from the Pathfinder Beginner Box adventure.
  • Extensive "Read-aloud" text.
  • 1 open area encounter and 2 levels of cave encounters.

Are you planning a Foundry VTT adaptable version?

Hey Paul, at some point I want to port it over, but it might be a while. It does come with 4K resolution maps that you can import into Foundry for your own games at this time.

Hi - So I am currently running this in Foundry and have created an adventure module for it, importing all dungeon maps, journal, etc.. (didn't do the Otari maps as i have those from other sources). Is there some way I can share with you privately? (free of charge of course - it was a labor of love and I learned more about Foundry). Then you could adapt it for future addition to this product. You can find me on discord at RandallC - perhaps we can do it there.

Wow that’s brilliant of you! I’ve still yet to start using foundry as a tool.

Well, if you ever get around to using Foundry, hit me up on Discord (RandallC) and we'll figure out how to get you the file.

"Extensive 'Read-aloud' text."

Is that a selling feature?

Thanks for the question :)

It can be for some GM's as it helps them save time, or can prompt them with ideas if they are paraphrasing.

Mostly though, that list is just to give an indication of what you get, sometimes the previews don't give enough information.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
