The Primalist perfectly captured the feel of a Primal half-martial half-caster that I was looking for with my character in a Fists of the Ruby Phoenix campaign. One thing I noticed, though; Primal Ray (10th level Primalist feat, page 26) is worded as though it takes an action to do, but doesn't have an action cost listed. If it wasn't intended to have an action cost, axing the requirement section and implementing something like "When you deal damage with a natural rhythm, magical energy spills out to extend beyond the creature you struck" to the text of the feat would be a bit more clear. To add on to that, 1d8 damage per spell level seems like it's a bit too much damage for an ability that doesn't take any actions to use to be dealing. It seems like a feat that would take at least 1 action to use, and that's how me and my GM have agreed to have it function unless some clarification on the feat comes out that says otherwise. Regardless, this awesome product, as was the rest of the bundle that our group...See more

It is supposed to be a 1 action ability. It is based on the Magus Cascading Ray ability which also costs 1 action. I will update shortly; thanks!

Also, I'm glad you like Primalist. It was a real struggle for me as I quickly realized Druidy/Primal/Nature type stuff was not in my wheelhouse of expertise. I still consider it the worst of the 4 classes I wrote, but it's functional. I think Mentalist turned out the best!

The level 18 Primalist Feat "Primal Aegis" has the Zealot Feat "Second Judgement" as a prerequisite.

Thanks! I knew there would be something I left behind when I reused the layout. It's safe to say that isn't a prerequisite and I'll be updating it later!

This covers my goal of "bounded casters for all four traditions" and is likely my last "big project" of this size. Any future products I make will likely be more specialized and on a smaller scale.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
